888poker has presented its new festival offering called 888Live Festivals. The latter is set to start in London in October and is being promoted by the brand as larger, better and very different from any other live poker event to date.
The 888Live London Festival is to be hosted by the brand’s Ambassador Kara Scott. It is to continue for a period of 11 days – from October 11th to October 23rd after kicking off at the Aspers Casino in London. The prize pools offered at the new festival are also claimed to be different from the rest of the live poker events offered by the brand. As 888poker itself revealed, the total prize pool is estimated to more than $500,000.
What 888poker also announced was the fact that the events offered over the 888Live Festival in London would be “a celebration of poker.” The brand has made everything in their strength in order to provide players with an improved poker experience. They will be given the chance to choose from a great number of tournaments, prolonged structures, different buy-ins and larger guarantees.
A number of professional poker players, including Dominik Nitsche, Chris Moorman and Sofia Lövgren are expected to appear at the tournament. A great variety of tournaments will be featured over the 888Live London Festival, which would be great for both amateurs and high rollers.
The £220 Buy-in 888Live London Festival Opening Event Day 1A is to kick off on Thursday, October the 13th at 18:00. It will be followed by the £220 Buy-in Opening Day 1B event on Friday and an Opening Event 1C. All three Opening Days will feature a guaranteed prize pool of £100,000. The Final of the Opening Event is scheduled for Sunday, October 16th.
A total of eight Lightening 6max 36 caps will be featured over the Festival. There will be a number of £50 Buy-in Super Satellite Main event days, a well as a two-day High Roller event. The latter is scheduled for October 19h and 20th. It will start with a £2,000 Buy-in Day 1 Event and will end on the other day.
Also a £880 Buy-in 888 Live London Festival Main Event with a guaranteed prize of £200,000 will be featured in a total of four days. The two opening days – 1A and 1B – will be on October 20th and 21st, respectively. The second day of the event is scheduled for October 22nd, and then a Main Event Final on October 23rd.
A number of other events featuring excellent gaming experience and large bounties would be available to players to choose from.
